Training On The Edge

Today’s training was an 8 mile hike to McAffee Knob. I gained 1400 feet in elevation, I burned 1500 calories, I had a max heart rate of 178, and I was on my feet for 3 1/2 hours…I just cannot help but think this was a good training day.
